Located in a 2.2-acre plot in the development area at Aroor, beside the NH 47, close to the commercial city of Cochin, this unit was established in 1987.The Aroor unit has its own "total quality management system" and is known for it's strict adherence health and hygiene standards. The White bread with very low sugar content, which is considered by many as a very good food for diabetic patients is the special product of this unit. This unit was the pioneer in the usage of the "See through Polythene pouches" , which revolutionized the bread packing technology in India.

With the sophisticated machinery from U.S.A. the plant has attained a capacity of about 50,000 standard loaves a day and the capacity utilization often exceeds 100%.

The company's policy is to reach the bread produced and packed to the consumer within hours without losing its freshness and flavour. To transform our policy to reality a large and well-knit distribution network consisting of about 150 distributors in the State is established.

In future there is a proposal to install a new product line. It is also planned to diversify the production making use of the available infrastructure.
